The Client invested in this bungalow as a project with a view to increasing the accommodation from a two bed dwelling to four bedrooms. This is intended as their family home for life, a property that can allow a degree of expansion and a dwelling that caters for modern living, with a large open plan kitchen, dining and snug to the rear.
The internal ground floor arrangement has been completely gutted to include a home office, utility, a family sized bathroom and formal lounge which looks onto the street. The 1st floor attic has been extended approximately 4 metres to the rear which allows a smaller bathroom and two decent sized bedrooms. The rear bedroom has been designed to accommodate a small external balcony which overlooks the gardens.
The planning and building warrant process was fairly straight forward and the interior design, which has been carefully thought out by Rachel Linn-Moran, enhances the spaces within this property.
